| PRAYERS FOR THE GLOBAL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY -- and to share with those who have yet to discover the meaning of the Love of the God of Abraham, the same God who is the Father of our savior, Jesus Christ, who we pray will be discovered by many.
Thanks to those who send us a copy of prayers that clearly communicate the concerns of many of us. As time and resources permit, they will be added below -- and we thank you for your prayers for the survival and growth of this micro-mission. |
When in doubt .....
Once I mistakenly thought of Christ ... as though he was merely a human being. (II Corinthians 5:16).
How differently I think about him now ...
He was God ...
He took the humble position of being a slave and appeared in human form ... (Philippians 5:2).
so that we could be made right with God.
In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Jesus Christ ... (1 Peter 5:10a).
We have seen His majestic splendor with our own eyes. (II Peter 1:16b).

Billy Graham's Prayer For The Beacon of Freedom, the United States:
'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.
We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.
We have abused power and called it politics.
We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from sin and set us free.
Amen!'
With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we once again can be called 'One nation under God!'
